Model BS Marine Gull & Bird Scarer
Designed as a seagull deterrent for use on a boat or any place gulls cause problems.
This unit has audible and ultrasonic speakers integrated into one box making a compact solution.
These units produce a high level of ultrasonic sound which has been proven to be an effective deterrent against birds. In addition they use audible sound which is designed to blend in with the environment so as not to cause a nuisance effect, together they create a very high level of protection against seagulls.
Whilst the ultrasonic sound is produced constantly to offer protection around the clock, the audible sounds are automatically stopped at dusk and restarted at dawn, however, this can be controlled manually with the On/Off/Volume switch if so required.
The device is designed with low power consumption in mind and will work for weeks on a 60 Ah battery should mains not be available.
Placement with good line of sight of the problem area is essential for effective operation of ultrasonics, if this is not possible with one speaker, please look at our Marine MPS range.
Marine scarers are supplied with a mains psu and a battery lead.
