What area does Pest Stop 500 cover?

About 500 sq.ft. in a single open area, i.e. one room. Remember that ultrasound does not go through walls or other solid objects when you are placing the unit.

Will the Pest Stop 500 clear rodents in the loft if it is plugged in downstairs?

No. The Pest Stop 500 uses only ultrasonic sound which will not pass through anything solid. You need to use the PestClear 2000 or Professional in this instance.

How does Pest Stop 500 affect mice?

It causes auditory stress. This disrupts their normal behaviour patterns and it makes it uncomfortable for them to stay in the same room as Pest Stop 500.

How quickly does it work?

Expect to see results within a few days but it can take longer.

I found mouse droppings near the unit. Is it faulty?

No. Mice are very curious and even though the noise is disturbing them they often go right up to the unit to investigate.

How does it work with ants?

Ultrasound may affect ants but for ant problems we suggest using PestClear 2000 as seen on our webpage Insect Pest Control.

What other pests does it affect?

Pest Stop 500 affects most rodents and crawling insects within the room which the unit is placed.

Is Pest Stop 500 safe to use in my home?

Absolutely. It uses no chemicals so it is safe near children and food. It will not harm your pet dog, cat, birds or fish. It is clean, safe and economical (1p every 3 days approx).
