8 Zone Wirefree Control Panel

The Control Panel features 8 alarm zones, (4 devices can be programmed to each zone) plus 1 Fire and 1 Panic zone, it also provides connections for Strobe Alarm Box, autodialer, sounder and back up battery.

The control panel is the 'brain' of the system, from here you can set up and control all of the many functions of the system with simple key presses. The system can be part or full set allowing normal use in one area whilst another area is alarmed.

The panel simply plugs into a mains socket and is ready for use and having an internal battery means the panel can be moved around allowing you to be aware when someone has enters your property.

When in daytime mode, the zones can be set to 'chime', giving an audible and visual warning that a zone has been entered, a row of LEDs indicate which 'zone' has been triggered telling exactly where the entry has been made. When used in conjuction with the outdoor detectors, this can be useful for properties such as small holdings, nurseries, farms, factories, stables etc where you cannot see all of the entry points to the property.

Detectors

Outdoor Detector

30 metre corridor beam detection pattern weatherproof PIR or detector, designed for use out of doors or in outbuildings too far from the control panel to use indoor detectors. Has a built in transmitter and a maximum operating distance of 500 metres to control panel or repeater, although in every day use a distance of 300 metres is more realistic without a repeater or additional antenna. Powered by 9v PP3 alkaline battery which will last up to 12 months.

The detector senses intrusion by using a beam (or beams depending on the pattern) that detect a 2 degree heat rise over a specific short period of time, so a living body will trigger the detector whereas a moving branch will not.

The beam patterns available are:

• Corridor (30 metre beam)
• Horizontal curtain (12 metre beam)
• Wide angle (12 metre 90° beam

The corridor beam is a popular choice and with the detector mounted 3 ­ 4ft from the ground allows dogs, cats, badgers, foxes, etc to pass under the beam without triggering. The 30 metre beam allows the detector to be used for perimeter protection, by creating a box around the area to be protected. With this method, you are aware of someone entering your property before they have gained access to the inside of a building, which may cause damage and giving you valuable time to react.

Internal Detector

Internal PIR with integral transmitter and antenna, giving a transmission distance of 80 ­ 100 metres. The beam pattern as standard is a wide angle but with the addition of a lens pack can be corridor or horizontal curtain. There is also a Pet Tolerant version of the internal PIR available which accommodates movement of one cat or dog up to 25kg.

Contact Transmitter

General purpose transmitter, designed for use with magnetic door or window contacts. Screw terminals provided for your choice of external normally closed alarm contacts, plus tamper loop or normally open push to set devices. Transmitter range up to 100 metres.

Inertia Transmitter

Inertia transmitter, designed for internal perimeter protection with a built in transmitter and shock sensitivity adjustment; can be fixed to doors, windows, quad bikes, vehicles, tractors or anything that can be moved when it shouldn't be!

Smoke Detector Alarm

Optical smoke detector with integral transmitter. Signals an audible indication at the smoke detector and to the control panel giving you maximum warning.

Powered by 2 x PP3 9V batteries

General Purpose Transmitter

Accepts any normally open or closed detection device or clean relay output. Transmitter range up to 500m; ideal for remote monitoring of float switches, emergency thermostats, lights, heating and many other types of switch devices.

Powered either by a 12 volt dc supply or 2 AA batteries.

Remote Control Equipment

Remote Control

Handy pocket sized radio remote control. Use for a simple, quick and easy method of arming/disarming the control panel. Also features a dual action panic facility for additional protection. Range 100 metres.

Powered by 2 x CR2032 lithium cells.

Auto-dialer

The auto dialer has to be hard wired to the control panel and requires a phone point with direct dial to plug into. When triggered, it dials up to 4 numbers until a pre-programmed response is received. The unit has up to 3 different messages and can advise you if you have an intruder, fire or a "panic alarm" message.

GSM Auto-dialler

Should there not be a land line available, then a GSM auto-dialler can be used allowing the system to make contact when it has been triggered

Wirefree Keypad

Remote keypad for arming/disarming or programming the control panel with dual action panic facility. If the main control panel is mounted well away from the entrance a remote keypad can be placed/mounted at the entrance to allow quick and easy controlling of panel.

Pendant Panic Button

Pendant panic button for use with control panel whilst within 100 metre range. Easily carried. Ideal for "lone workers" in dangerous areas, the elderly or frail, etc. Max. working range 100m

Professional Tamperproof Strobe Alarm Box

Has to be hard wired to the control panel. Features 114dB sounder output, integral xenon strobe, internal NiCad battery, twin status LEDs, dual failsafe cut-off timer & polycarbonate housing.

If the box is tampered with or the cable cut, the system is automatically triggered.

Interfaces

Repeater

Use to extend the working range of radio transmissions up to 1 kilometer maximum. Up to 4 repeater stations may be used between a detection device and the control panel. Relays all information from the remote site including the original triggered detector.

Mains powered with provision for battery backup.

Single Zone Receiver Interface

Single zone receiver enables any detector or panic button to be interfaced into a wired alarm system. Also, ideal for remote switching of lights, pumps, and can be used as single zone indicator/alarm.

Six Zone Wireless Receiver

Six zone receiver designed to interface wireless detection devices or panic buttons into wired alarm systems. Provides eight clean contact, programmable relay outputs.
